The stalker who was stalking Hilary Duff was now sentenced to jail for 117 days (4 months). Hilary Duff, 19, gained a protection order against Maksim Myaskovskiy, 18, in October 2006 after he allegedly tried to contact Hilary Duff in the California neighbourhood of her ex boyfriend, Good charlotte rocker Joel Madden, who is now dating Nicole Richie. Maksim Myaskovskiy was arrested on 3rd oif November, 2006, when he threatened to harm Hilary Duff, who stared in Lizzie McGuire at an event she was scheduled to attend. He was taken into custody for making criminal threats and stalking. In addition to jail time, a Superior Court judge also ordered Maksim Myaskovskiy to serve five years probation at the hearing on Friday
