Joel Madden is dating Nicole Richie after his split with Hilary Duff.
Joel Madden and Nicole Richie were spotted out at Hollywood hot spot Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel on 2 December, less than a week after Joel Madden confirmed that they had split.
According to American publication Us Weekly, Richie, 25, and Madden, 27, were spotted holding hands and dancing, with one clubgoer adding:
Nicole couldn't stop smiling. I've never seen her happier. 
The following night, the new couple hit the town again, joining Joel Madden's twin brother Benji Madden and his Australian girlfriend Sophie Monk for an intimate dinner at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills. Joel Madden, 27, and Hilary Duff, 19, announced they had split late last month and blamed the break-up on their age difference.
